Founded 2004 as pilot project of the Chinese ministry of Education (MoE) and the German ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) the CDHAW is one of the most successful cooperation in terms of international university education. CDHAW is held by the Tongji-University and the DHIK.
The CDHAW offers Bachelor programs in automotive engineering, mechtronics, building services engineering and industrial engineering. Students spend the fourth year of studies abroad: the winter term is a study term at the university and the summer term is an internship in a company supporting the CDHAW.
The Tongji University was founded in 1904 by the German doctor Erich Paulun and belongs to Chinese elite universities of the 211 and 985 projects.
